Petronord together with the Deglmann Family, will initiate the business of Deglmann Energie GmbH & Co. KG with effect from 1 January 2003. The new company has taken over the final consumer business of Deglmann Mineralöl GmbH, Weiden. Dr. Christian Deglmann will take on the operational management of the new company.
The precondition for the holding is the approval of the Federal Cartel Office, whose positive decision is shortly awaited.
Deglmann Mineralöl GmbH is an old established, regional mineral oil trading company and a Shell marketing partner of many years standing. The company has branch offices in Weiden, Schwandorf and Regensburg.
Petronord is a subsidiary of Mabanaft GmbH (Hamburg) and acts as an intermediate holding company for a number of energy service providers, who are primarily active in the heating oil business, whilst increasingly offering other energy services. By expanding the final consumer business, now for the first time in Bavaria, Mabanaft is following the objective of supporting its own wholesale business and of using synergies from within the company. ► back to the overview
