Petronord together with Mr Richard Böttcher, will initiate the business of Böttcher Energie GmbH & Co. KG with effect from 1 March 2003. The new company has taken over the final consumer business of Messrs. Böttcher & Huber, Regensburg. The operational management will be taken over by Mr Richard Böttcher.
This holding is still subject to approval by the Federal Cartel Office.
Böttcher & Huber is a well established regional mineral oil company of many years standing, with a staff of 18 employees. Annual sales of middle distillate, including a filling station in Regensburg, amounts to around 65,000 cubic metres, which is supplied by its own fleet of vehicles.
Petronord is a subsidiary of Mabanaft GmbH and acts as an intermediate holding company for a number of energy service providers, who are primarily active in the heating oil business, whilst increasingly offering other energy services. By expanding the final consumer business, it is following the objective of supporting its own wholesale business and of using synergies from within the company ► back to the overview
