Hamburg | 30.01.2012

Effective March 1, 2012, the company Uhlenbruck & Kemmann Energie GmbH will commence business operations under the management of Petronord and Mr. Axel Uhlenbruck. The new company has acquired the retail businesses of the companies Hermann Uhlenbruck Mineralölvertrieb GmbH, Mülheim and Eduard Kemmann GmbH & Co. Mineralölhandel, based in Kaarst. Axel Uhlenbruck will take over operational management of the company.

The transaction is still subject to approval by the Antitrust Regulators.

Hermann Uhlenbruck Mineralölvertrieb GmbH is a long-established regional mineral oil company. In addition to specializing in the conventional heating oil and diesel business, the company is also engaged in the pool stations business with 19 sites as a partner of Tankpool24. Eduard Kemmann GmbH & Co. Mineralölhandel is a strategic distribution partner of ExxonMobil in the lubricants market. The new company will have 24 employees.

Petronord thus continues to expand and diversify its endconsumer business while remaining strongly focused on the regional identity of its investments.
