Petronord Expands their End Consumer Business

Hamburg | 01.01.2007

Effective 1 January 2007 Petronord acquires the end consumer business of Klaus Hartmann GmbH and of Digol Energie GmbH.  Both companies come together under the umbrella of the newly established Hartmann Energie GmbH & Co. KG in Oberleichtersbach (Bavaria). Klaus Hartmann will take over the operational management of the new company.

Klaus Hartmann GmbH is a well established regional petroleum trading company and a close business partner of Mabanaft Frankfurt. In May 2005 Mr. Hartmann took over Digol Energie GmbH from Petronord with branches in Kuenzell and Schmalkalden.

With a staff of 16 employees, the annual sales of middle distillates amount to 70,000 cbm, which is distributed with their own tank truck fleet.

Petronord is a subsidiary of Mabanaft GmbH & Co. KG and acts as an intermediate holding company for a number of energy service providers, who are primarily active in the supply of heating oil, lubricants, diesel and biodiesel. By expanding the end consumer business, Mabanaft’s objective is to support its own wholesale activities and take advantage of synergies within the company. ► back to the overview
